No Sweat For Kedah

KUALA LUMPUR, March 27 (Bernama) -- Defending champions Kedah beat Sarawak 2-0 in their second round, second leg match to qualify for the quarterfinals of the FA Cup football competition.

Accompanying Kedah in the last eight are Selangor, Sabah, Pahang, Melaka, Felda United, Terengganu and Kuala Muda.

In the match in KUCHING, Mohd Fadly Baharom scored twice for Kedah in the 28th and 37th minute. In their first leg encounter at the Darul Aman Stadium, Kedah beat Sarawak 3-0.

Kedah qualified advanced into the quarterfinals on a 5-0 aggregate.
