ECL GROUP

United will play Villarreal, Celtic and Aalborg in the group stages of this season's Champions League.

The Reds were last drawn against Celtic only two years ago, of course, when the clubs won one match apiece in the group stage. Sir Alex Ferguson's team triumphed in a five-goal thriller at Old Trafford before losing 1-0 at Celtic Park, a result which saw the Scottish club join United in the last 16.

The final dates and venues will be confirmed in due course, but provisional dates are below.
